Volunteer with Holiday Hope 2025
Every holiday season, hundreds of volunteers come together to make magic happen. Whether you’re wrapping gifts at the Oshawa Centre, greeting families at our Holiday Hope Pop-Up Shop, or rallying your coworkers for a group shift, your time transforms generosity into joy.
Wrap for Hope at the Oshawa Centre
From December 1 - December 24, the Oshawa Centre transforms into a hub of holiday cheer as our Wrap for Hope station opens for shoppers. Volunteers wrap gifts by donation, and every dollar supports the Holiday Hope.
Individual Volunteers
Join a 4-hour shift and help wrap gifts, greet shoppers, or collect donations. Bring your enthusiasm, a smile, and a love of holiday spirit, and we’ll provide everything else!
Corporate & Group Volunteers
Gather your coworkers, service club, or team for a half- or full-day shift. It’s a joyful, hands-on way to give back and a great team-building experience that spreads kindness across Durham Region.

Why Volunteers Matter
It takes more than 200 volunteers to make Holiday Hope possible from wrapping thousands of gifts to organizing toy drives and helping families shop with dignity. Your time and heart create a ripple of kindness that reaches every corner of Durham Region.
When you volunteer, you’re not just giving time you’re helping parents experience the joy of choosing gifts for their children, creating moments of connection that will be remembered long after the wrapping paper is gone.
