Host a Holiday Hope Drive
Spread hope and joy this holiday season.
Bring your workplace, school, or community group together to collect gift cards, new pajamas, toys, wrapping supplies, or funds that help brighten the holidays for children, youth, and families across Durham Region.
Gift Cards
Our most-needed item. $25 or $50 gift cards from Walmart, Superstore, Shoppers Drug Mart, Amazon, or Sport Chek let families choose what matters most.
Pajamas and Winter Comforts
New, cozy pajamas or warm accessories for all ages, from infant to adult XL. Inclusive, cheerful patterns encouraged.
Toy Drive
Collect new, unwrapped toys, books, or games for children and youth. Every item helps fill our Holiday Hope Shop shelves with joy.
Wrapping Supplies
Paper, tissue, bows, tape, gift bags, and tags. Everything that makes giving special.
Monetary Gifts
Make an immediate impact. Donate online or by cheque to help fill urgent gaps in our Holiday Hope Shop.
How It Works
- Register your drive. Email Jackie Vieira or call 905-433-1551 ext. 2781 before collecting.
- Choose your focus. Gift cards, pajamas, toys, wrapping supplies, or a mix.
- Set your dates. Two to three weeks between mid-November and early December works best.
- Promote your drive. Use the poster and social graphic from our toolkit.
- Drop off your donations. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1320 Airport Blvd, Oshawa. Contact Jackie for large deliveries. After December 1, please contact Jackie directly.
- Celebrate your impact. Share photos, tag @DurhamCAF, and inspire others to give.
Add a Volunteer Shift at Wrap for Hope
Make your Holiday Hope Drive even more meaningful by joining us at the Oshawa Centre’s Wrap for Hope. You and your group can sign up for a volunteer shift to help wrap gifts, greet shoppers, and share the spirit of the season.
