Holiday Hope at Oshawa Centre
This year, Durham Children’s Aid Foundation is honoured to carry forward a special holiday tradition at Oshawa Centre.
For many years, our friends at Hearth Place welcomed holiday shoppers with their gift wrapping station, raising funds to support families facing cancer in Durham Region. When Hearth Place decided not to continue with the program, Oshawa Centre invited DCAF to step in and bring Holiday Hope to the space. We are grateful for their years of dedication and proud to continue the tradition of generosity they helped build.

Be Part of the Holiday Magic
We can’t do this without you! The storefront is powered entirely by volunteers and it’s the perfect way to give back during the holidays.
- Corporate Teams: A great team-building opportunity! Spend a day together in the mall, connect with the community, and make a direct impact.
- Families & Friends: Bring your crew, wear your festive sweaters, and make gift wrapping part of your holiday tradition.
- Individuals: Whether you can give a morning, an afternoon, or a full day every shift helps.
Volunteering at the Holiday Hope Storefront is fun, festive, and meaningful. You’ll meet new people, help raise vital funds, and leave knowing you made the holidays brighter for children and youth in our community.
A Tradition of Community Giving
Holiday Hope has been a Durham tradition for more than 50 years. With your help, this year’s storefront will continue that legacy one gift at a time.
